Purgatory

There are three kinds of intelligence: one kind understands things for itself, the other appreciates what others can understand, the third understands neither for itself nor through others. This first is excellent, the second good, and the third useless.

Everyday I go to work. I get up at 5.00am and I plod off. I get home at 3.30pm and I get ready to do it all again. I earn £13,500 a year. I’m educated; I have my GCSEs, A-Levels, a diploma and a Degree. But I don’t make a difference.

You know, sod the money; I’d do a job that allowed me to make a real difference to people, to the world, for nothing at all.

The BNP? What a country that would make..

I took my voting card to work with me, just to make sure that I didn’t forget to vote whilst walking past the polling station on the way home. Did you say ‘forget to vote’? how could you do that?

Well to be honest the utter lack of proper representation from any political party in this country is enough to make you forget, or enough to make you want to. It certainly goes some way in explaining why the voting turn out is so low. After all, what exactly is the point in voting when the three major parties really are all the bloody same. Yet by not voting at all, xenophobic, racist parties like the BNP are allowed to accumulate power, and before you know it, the country will be run by a group of undercover skin heads with a penchant for violence.

New Labour need to get a grip and they need to do it now.

Home

And the view from my window this morning. A glum morning, with rain, grey clouds and a sense of foreboding. One of those difficult mornings that seems designed for awkward thinking.Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
